Djembé Studio adapts to your learning speed and helps you
to understand the West African rhythms better by displaying the notation on your screen
with a moving cursor.
You will learn and understand all the solos completely.
Djembé Studio is almost as entertaining as a real,
lively companion. Through
regular practice you can
develop yourself enormously.
The recordings for Djembé studio were made with first class microphones laying great value on the typical acoustics and micro timing of West African music.
Many arrangements in this Djembé Studio App were made by
the African master drummer Famoudou Konaté.
He is very excited about this program and has authorized
Bergmann Apps to use his
arrangements for this App.
To use Djembé Studio
you need a smart phone or tablet that runs on the Android
operating system. The device should have a
sufficiently large display.
Recommended devices are from 800x480 pixels.
Alternatively, a free memory of 8 GB or a slot for
Micro SD card is required. For practice you can even connect your smartphone to stereo equipement.
A wireless connection via
Bluetooth is also possible.
The program and the data is stored on USB-Stick
and Micro SD Card.

Djembé Studio Workshop Vol.1 +2 includes 35 traditional West African arrangements, structured and decomposed into every single percussion instrument part.
4 different tempos can be choosen.
Besides the complete package with breaks, solos and echauffements there are arrangements to play-along. In addition, there are exercises with the individual accompanying instruments (Sangban, Dununba, Kenkeni, Djembé). The core of each workshop is the djembe solo. It is divided into many individual exercises.
You can view the various passages of the solo, repeated as often as you like
and play with variable speed.
Djembé Studio shows you how easy it is
to learn notes. The integrated notation is even easy to read and understand for beginners, too. While you practice, you can see the notes on the screen and the cursor shows you were you currently
are in the rhythm.
